90,000!

A slightly unexpected burst of speed (possibly induced by the contents of Calistro's Pay It Forward gift, which I'll post about properly on Wednesday when I've taken the pictures) on Saturday has taken me past the 90% mark!

90k! Well done! You gotta love those big wordcount thresholds.

If your target wordcount is 100k, do you think you will have the story finished by then, or will you go over? For my own novel, 100k is my target but I'm giving myself an extra 25,000 because the story just isn't going to be finished. I'll reduce it to 100,000 in the second draft, because I know already that a few sections need some serious streamlining.
